I got my Covid vaccine booster shot yesterday which means I’m feeling a little punk today; not enough to stay in bed, but enough to slow me down. The day started with an unexpected rain, so I felt obligated to get down to the barn early and bring everyone under cover. That was all the reserve I had though and, as the rain ended, I opened stall doors and invited everyone back out without a single grooming. I have spent most of the rest of the day inside snuggling with dogs and admiring the changing views out my window. When it is time for evening chores, I linger in the barn as the sun goes down setting the sky on fire. I didn’t have much to offer the day, but the day had much to offer me.
